Ohhh, an RAF A-10. :cool Haven`t seen a rendition of that one for a long time so will be looking forward to seeing your one. ;)

I was refering to the tail codes on the A-10 kit box when I wrote the `stinks` comment btw. :D

Well I've seen Gulf War RAF ones....Thought I'd try to be a little different!

Ah...I see....BO......Well, it is a Warthog! Bound to smell a bit!

Something definately stinks.....

Went thru all the boxes last night. Started with the A-10 because the guy who sold said he didn't know if it was all there..
A quick look thru the Tescos veg bag the parts were in showed a pair of fuselage halves, some wings, tails and engines and many other bits.

On closer inspection last night the 2 fuselage halves are both the same side, only one wing (if that) is there, but on the bright side, I have lots and lots of American bombs and rockets.....shame I don't generally do American aircraft....

I seem to remember once hearing that all appendages on the A-10 were interchangable, port to starboard.....unfortunately not true of the fuselage, lol

The F3 I bought has a couple of Alarms missing and up to 2 maybe 3 tail fins....
But I didn't buy it to build, but for parts...and all the ones I want are there

Everything else looks ok tho...

How about putting the fuselage half on a board in a frame `Squadron Prints style` :D

Builder of aircraft, any scale from 1:1 to 1:144!
Sounds like some proper bargains! I didn't get there as early as I'd hoped, due to certain persons demanding a breakfast Mcmuffin stop! Came away with a Gannet, an Invader and a Dak to restore/get annoyed at/burn with fire, depending. Also loads of luftwaffe decals, some anti flash Victor decals for a future project ;), some Sea Vixen ones to replace the ones falling off mine, some RAF V-bomber patches too cheap to resist, oh and... A Vulcan Nav Radar's panel....

I fled to the pub before SWMBO returned from work on Saturday night. Just in case she objected to the piece of Tin Triangle appearing....

...Fortunately she likes it so all's well! :cool

Oops...she found out last night I spent nearly £80 at the weekend.....supposed to be saving money...

I tried to use women's logic by telling her I'd actually saved money cos they were all on sale and cheap.....That didn't work.

I think the big problem is, like most women, she doesn't understand the modellers natural urge to "stash".

Yes, I accidently bought one too.
I needed some white paint and B&H only take cards if you spend over £10, so I had no choice.

Besides, I want it to go alongside my Gladiator in 3 sqn markings...

I got the crappy Airfix one because it had 3sqn as an option.

I do plan to do the much better (and bigger) Revell 1/48 one sometime tho....
