The pictures are not shit, & thankyou for sharing them :)

Please dont get disheartened when people dont comment on your pictures Daz. ;)

Ironically, we were discussing this today, & we all decidied as long as you are happy with the results, it really doesnt matter what other people think.

Now a note of constructive critscism, try use a slower shutter speed, to get a nice "blur" on the prop, I usually go 1/125th of a second, but you will need a steady hand, to keep the a/c sharp. Heres are some examples below, with low shutter speeds;

That Spirit of Kent Spitfire was at my local airfield (Andrewsfield) last year...seems to get around quite a bit.

Quite clever how they managed to balance it on top of that building for the second shot.

Trouble is I won't be photographing any "live" aircraft this year. As there no Airshows local to me. And just lately my mobility is impaired. And I can't travel all over the country chasing aircraft coz of money issues too.

I know how the money thing goes Daz, I got to one airshow last year because of the cost and what with pertol going up like it is I won't be going far this year.

Yeah, going to Fairford for RIAT is major financial outing for me so we're skipping it this year (only thing I'll miss not seeing are the A10s). I'm somewhat underwhelmed by airshows nowadays as it is, without having to pay £40 a ticket + £### for petrol.

It'd be cheaper to fly out to Izmir for their show.
