Hello everyone who on here builds vac form models if not why they are easy what are people scared of tell me i have a few to build 1/72nd scale victor brittannia valiant B2 viscount 800 lincoln manchester 1/48th scale fouga magister 3x sea vixens skyshark lightning F6 halifax 2x 48th aeroclub vulcans 1/32nd scale bae hawk auwful model already built 1/72nd contrail il76 iraqi airways airways comet built as canopus contrail nimrod 1/48th dynavector dh103 hornet pr 22 dynavector gannet simon |

I did one many years ago, a Fairey Fulmar in 1/72 and had no problms with it. I can't remember who made it but it was a good manufacturer, using decent thick plastic. As you know Mark, I have the 1/48 Hunter in my stash, awaiting it's turn. I can't envisage any real problems with that either, but I wouldn't like to try anything bigger than a fighter in 1/48.... |

The fear for vacvorms is mostly the fact that you have to get parts from all over the modelling community. For model A you would need: Gear from Hasagawa kitnumber 0000 The wheels you will neeed from Zvesda kit number 000 and much more. And not even an good office :o |

Hi Eric only on the older ones you need to scrounge bits in the newer ones they are resin and white metal detail parts take the aeroclub vulcan it has resin, injection plastic and white metal here you are a dynavector 48th sea hornet PR22 ![]() simon |
