I dont suppose if anyone knows of the callsign Iron man for a Kc-135 that whent into the hall at 2120 tonight? I think my book is either a tad out of date (2009) or its a strange one. Cheers |

the E-6, using the call sign Ironman 11, is assigned to Fleet Air Reconnaissance Squadrons Three (VQ-3) at Tinker Air Force Base, Okla. VQ-3 is known as the "Ironman Squadron" and is part of Strategic Communications Wing One http://www.grissom.afrc.af.mil/news/story.asp?id=123251071 thats the only ironman call signs i know are you sure it wasnt an E-6 transiting to the med |
