well the markings thats what this kit is about

you get 2 schemes

a captured aircraft that was flown by the RAF to evaluate this aircraft
a 109 sent to the Japanese army for evaluation

the decals are nice but dont seem as crisp as more recent releases like the lighting

It doesn't look a bad kit.

Is it the old mould or have they re tooled it for this release?

Although the subject is one that interests me as I have the 'captured butcher birds' decal set and an eduard 48th scale FW 190 A5 to do this just doesn't do it for me.

But Im sure others will enjoy it as it looks like it has some good potential :D

Definately one I'm going to have to get, to go along with my Condor Legion one I got for Xmas.

One thing I don't understand tho....If the RAF machine was completely repainted in RAF colours, then why would they take the time to redo all the stencils, as shown in the "common" section of the decals? Especially as they would have had any script in German....

It's the 2010 tooling, not exactly ancient!

Tad disappointed with it.

The kit is alright, but I'll probably end up selling it. The calendar is a bit cheap and the sort of thing that gets given away free with magazines. The £10 voucher might come in handy though.

The new passport seems to have 1 flying hour included.
