At last my Lynx is in my posession, & it was worth the wait... So what do you get... First up, dramatic box art, something we expect to see from the "new" Airfix... ![]() Lynx sprue shots 001 by AndyJN Photography, on Flickr The box contains 6 in total sprues, 5 in the nice, IMO, grey plastic, not too soft, & not too hard, in fact just right, & 1 clear. My camera is not the best, so cannot convey the quality of the mouldings, but trust me they are superb. ![]() Lynx sprue shots 006 by AndyJN Photography, on Flickr ![]() Lynx sprue shots 005 by AndyJN Photography, on Flickr ![]() Lynx sprue shots 007 by AndyJN Photography, on Flickr ![]() Lynx sprue shots by AndyJN Photography, on Flickr ![]() Lynx sprue shots 009 by AndyJN Photography, on Flickr A mega comprehensive instruction booklet is included, with very detailed assembly instructions throughout. If you do not have a set of micro drills, you will need a set for this kit, & it will be working overtime. Note the "B" letter that has been highlighted, by me, to help guide me. You also get the option for folded rotors, & tail rotor as well, with all the accompanying bracing to hold them in place, like the full size version. ![]() Lynx sprue shots 002 by AndyJN Photography, on Flickr 3 A3 size decal placement sheets are provided for the 3 versions in the kit. 1 side is the main decal positions... ![]() Lynx sprue shots 003 by AndyJN Photography, on Flickr The other side is for the stencil data placement... ![]() Lynx sprue shots 004 by AndyJN Photography, on Flickr Finally, the decal sheet, almost as big as the box, they appear quite thin, so should have no problems bedding down, in perfect register. I suspect they may be another Cartograph set. ![]() Lynx sprue shots 010 by AndyJN Photography, on Flickr In conclusion, well worth the wait, & well worth the money. If you build Helos, you need this one in you collection. Top banana Airfix...
