I know I am a bit late but can I still enter? My aim is to build one of these... ![]() Its a Bedford RL radio/control vehicle as used by the RAOC in the 1960's. I want to build one 'cos my Dad tells so many stories of his time driving them. Now, as no kit exists (to my knowledge) I intend to use a Corgi diecast as a base... ![]() ![]() ![]() Only the cab and forward chassis will be used as the remainder will be scratchbuilt (apart from the wheels which I have managed to source). Before I go to far, though, how does everybody feel about me using a diecast ratherthan a kit - particularly in view of the 15% completion rule? |

I used to know someone who owned a real one of these. That mast is massive fully extended as he was testing the hydraulics when we were working on our austin K3. I look forward to seeing this done
