Shame the other wall looks like it could do with finishing, did you blow the budget on one wall? |

We had a problem with a leaky gutter, caused a bit of a damp spot unfortunately! We only bought 2 rolls, still beats woodchip wallpaper! ATB |

(NOTE TO SELF, PRESS "QUOTE" NOT "EDIT"!) It was one of the "show" homes so it had been stripped of all that ghastly woodchip and redecorated in a lovely shade of Magnolia. |

The cheek of some people! Every room in my house is painted magnolia. That I can live with. What I hate is the dirty turqouise carpets that i'm stuck with! Other houses on the street have beige carpets, why haven't I!? It doesn't matter what colour curtains, sofa, etc you have, nothing goes with a dirty turqouise carpet!? |

That's one thing I was stuck with.....Army green carpets! We finally got round to changing the living room one last year, to a nice neutral beige/tan and have put laminate/lino down in the hall and bathroom/toilets. That just leaves the stairs, landing anf bedrooms....
