Have you tried art supplies shops?

Some of them stock the range of paints which certainly up to recently were called 'inscribe'. My local art shop stocks them and keep a fairly good capacity. They were stocked by Hobbycraft too up to a while ago.

I'm told the matt black acrylic in that range is very good. Worth a try if the normal hobby\model shops are failing you.

I did look in Ruddocks, which is sort of an arty shop...but I only looked at the plastic model area, so they might stock them, just didn't look.

I can understand there being a shortage of grey, particularly after Mark's sub but not black.

The Boyes in Doncaster only stock Vallejo Model Colour, last time I was on there I bought some black but that was a couple of weeks ago.

Cheers,

Warren

Well, Helen wanted to go shopping for her b'day next month, and Grimsby/Cleethorpes has been mentioned, so will have to pop into the indoor market and see if he still has Humbrol acrylics for £1. Need to make a list tho as theres a few I need.

Plenty at Manchester MZ.
Locally in Manchester I've found the best stockist of Humbrol Acrylics to be
Fred Aldous, the art supply shop in Stevenson Square. They usually have
the complete range. I've never seen so many paints of so many different
types and ranges. And the choice of brushes! I often come out without
buying cos I'm spoilt for choice!
They also have a selection of Airfix kits.

(No connection except as a satisfied customer, and all that!)
