Im finding there are a lot of errors on the instructions, if I actually followed the instructions a lot of stuff wouldn't fit or are in the wrong place.

It's a bit like the Yeti, you know it's there somewhere but being shy it only appears now and then, as it should. Your progress is slow but very good.

It always worries me when you see a cutting board that clean Shaun....

Great detail on the model, although by now, I`d expect nothing less.... :WHIP :D

Ah, what you dont see is all the gubbins I swept to one side so I could take the photos

Ive now started some more weathering/detailing on the cockpit and interior. Im also wiring up the instruments which is bloody fiddly

Bit of weathering done now so hopefully they look a tad different.

Ive also won the battle with the brass seat belts which since these have been taken have had a sepia wash.

The fuselage has had a dry brushing of snj polishing silver to try and highlight 'warn' areas.

You just got a sneaky peak at the instruments with there wiring loom to the bottom left of the pic there. Its not a secret I just forgot to photo the bloody thing

The metal tail wheel is now in place and waiting for a spray but Im going to need an industrial vat of interior colour as well as other paints so once Ive run out of this it will have to wait until next month when Im let of the leash and can buy model stuff again.

More progress this weekend I hope

Postpone the nuptials and get on with the important stuff, like this model. Seriously Shaun it is looking the dog's dangly bits.

I thought I would get the difficult bits out of the way which are the huge replacement wing.

This will be what joins the two together so I thought if I get it out of the way I can carry on enjoying the build.

The engines on the section are quite crude but do the job. These had to have quite a bit of resin removed for fitting. But these are all now done and awaiting glue.

The next bits weren't so simple although at first look they should be. As the engines are different the fairings have to be replaced. This is done by removing the aft section from the upper wing. The resin one is then glued into place which is far from easy. Why does super glue stick your fingers and bugger all else (im being funny, I know the real reason). The first one is now glueing on the window sill, not for any other reason than I was sick of the sight of it and wanted it out of the way whilst it dries.

If anyone is mental enough to want to do this don't go at it half arsed, it has to be all arse or nothing

Once I get this out of the way I can then just carry on as before but until these are all ready to 'drop in' I cant relax on the build.

I will get photos as soon as I can look at these without throwing them across the room

Following on with the 'I want to get the horrible bits all done' theme I did the other enigine.
Lesson learned from the other one it whent together without as much buggering about.

they will be left over night to cure properly then they wil be tidied up with some filler and sanding.
