These are the parts that were causing me so much agro but they are all glued and filled now so I can continue with the rest of the build.

The kindly did them in different colour resin also the have L & R on the underside.

Back to the fun bits, the cockpit is now in place so just a few more odds and sods to do and the halves can go together.

Ive already test fitted the halves and they go together quite reasonably.

Up next will be the wheel bays in the kit parts as they still have to be built and brass added.

I cant start the other fuselage until I get the other Big edd set which wont be until the end of the month but ive got plenty to be getting on with.

the y shaped bit behind what was the bomb bay doesnt fit well and is a bugger to line up, if i had to do mine again id add a tab on the inside to strengthen it

It may not look like much but its taken me 3 days to get to this stage with the main middle wing conversion.

The engines etc are all separate and are quite roughly cast so take a fair bit of 'fitting'. They are now all on and after quite a bit of filler and a lot of sanding, this is where Im up to

This thing weigh a ton so Im glad I got the metal gear for it. Ive now got to put the radiators etc onto these engines and then I will start work on the outer wings/engines.

That wing would make a great display stand for my little Fokker Triplane that I'm just finishing. :rolf

I forgot to mention,

Ive now started to use 'perfect putty' which is superb. It is easier to apply than the squadron stuff and dosnt give you a headache.

Well worth the money!!!!

Looking at the 'brick' Shaun it appears that you have made it well worth the effort.

I got sick of working on the 'brick' so fancied doing some brass work.

Ive started on the outer engine bays so I needed to get the undercart bays done. These are the side wall etc

The aim is to get the tail wheel assembly sprayed and the fuselage together before the wedding. For the only reason of I want it sorted so I can relax at the reception

sorry folks,
Building will now cease until after the wedding as Ive had to clear things away so people can stay in my room.

Sadly the one and only sofa bed is in my model room and as the future outlaw will be coming round for sarahs hen night with some other of her friends Ive had to make the biggest sacrifice so they can stay.

Good news is on doing this I have made more room to move and will crack on forthwith as soon as every bugger has gone and left us in peace.

we are going away for our honeymoon from saturday until wednesday so I will start again after that. I still need to get some more brass sets for the other airframe so they will be ordered now my self inflicted buying ban has been lifted.
