having read a few forums its sounding like the gear linkage, apparently its a comon problem

Well, the parts shouldn't be much then, just depends how hard it is to get to the linkages.

If the garage try charging you a fortune take the car out and buy the parts yourself for half the price or less through 24/7 Spares

or even price the part up before it goes in then you have a rough idea of how mch it should cost

well ive had the phone call.......









part of the gear linkage has snapped! (its made from plastic) and the bushes are worn

to replace the plastic part with a metal one and replace the bushes £100 all in

im happy with that
