ok ill be the first to lay out my plan


i plan to do a costal command liberator in 1/48 from the big revell kit

so turning this

ive had this in mind for a while and considered motorising her but the engines / motors arnt going to fit so ill leave that for now.

today my conversion kit has arrived from Belcher bits in canada so im going to crack on
well thats the plan :blink:

you will notice that she has a chin radome, this is one of the parts from belcher bits and second being the Leigh light

Great project Mark, I had the same planned and even collected all the bits, but I sold it all a couple or so years ago.

Its a nice kit the only problem is there is a lot of raised detail that needs rescribing some is recessed already but not all :blink:

well ive just done the really scary bit and cut the glass nose down to size :unsure:

ok ive marked out and drilled for the edition of the Leigh light, i had a panic on for a while as nowhere does it say which wing its attached to, then i remembered the photo i posted earlier, dont worry the scribing will be tidyed

ive also done some work on the engine faces, now i know you can get quick bost ones, but, as you cant see much any whay i couldnt see the point

anyway wings together and lots of filling to come around the engines, both wings are the same
