This one's going together so nicely that I kind of forgot the whole "take picture for the WIP" thing. Here's where it's at now. The only time it's been near the filler is when they were sat next to each other on the bench. :D

It's looking really good mate and it's nice when a kit does what it is supposed to do.

Been making some progress with this one. Most of the decals are on now. Starting to fit all the bits that I normally knock off when I'm applying decals. :D

All being well I should have it finished over the weekend.

Nice mate. What paint did you use for the NMF?

Cheers. It's Vallejo Model Air, Aluminium for the main airframe, Steel at the back. All brush painted.

Well you get a better result than I do with the Model Air mate. :cool

Have you used varnish at all, as you've got a nice shine to the paint?

I've been using quite a bit of it lately. The guy in the game shop told me it brushed okay and I've found it to be okay. The interior green needed two coats on the Hurricanes but all the rest have been fine.

The Sabre has a coat of Klear under the decals and a coat of Vallejo gloss varnish over the top.

Cool, thanks mate.

I've always sprayed a satin varnish over the the model when it's finished which is where I think I have been going wrong.

Also, I have found at times that the Model Air Silver can repel Klear resulting in a patchy finish. I have got some Vallejo gloss varnish somewhere so I'll try your idea on my next build. :cool
