Starfix Fouga Magister; Unjustified Ancient of Mu-Mu

This must be fake- it can't possibly be a REAL Starfix kit, I mean, the part-built
model actually looks more like a Fouga Magister than any other aircraft. . .

Finished the display base in the well-known in-house Starfix colours of Halford's Vauxhall Hazel Brown.

Whilst the Magister had the Israeli Star-of-David marking in the traditional six positions, rightly, Starfix provided only four. Good for them I say.

Bit of Tamiya Florescent red (look carefully and you might spot it) and a bit of afternoons work with some humbrol metalcote and just the armament to finish the kit off with.

I enjoyed that emensly,

its a refreshing change as most of my kits including resin, brass and decals are usually £50+. So to see what used to be made is an eye opener.
