Yes i do...... Ok first off im going on the asumption your after a raf tonka Airfix - avoid like the plague italeri - good alround detail some minor issues hobbyboss - slight shape issues but a lovley kit with lots of detail but more expensive revell are about to release a ecr (german version) the kit is new so no idea so..... If you want a normal flaps up good looking tonka go for the italeri but if you want a high detail one go for the hb ones but rwmember the nose shape is a bit wrong if you opt for the hb pm me before buying |

Thanks for that mark, they were the two kits I have a look at the hb comes out slightly on top for me, raf is right and hoping to do the 41 special tail, not overly concerned about slight issues with shape if it looks like it then for me it generally is it, trouble with pongos all planes look the same from a hole in the ground, |

Watch the intakes on the HB versions as they are too flat on the top putting them above the canopy sill and not curving down slightly (check side on photos). I have built a couple and once this is corrected they don't look too bad, if NOT corrected it is glaringly wrong. The Italeri kit has the fin forward lower edge and intake far too fat, a resin correction was produced but I cannot remember who did it but it worked a treat. Airfix have a crappy almost non-existent cockpit which bears no relation to the true version. |
