and began work on the pylons and stores (in no order) now talking about stores, the fit of the Amraam is very poor and needs a lot of filling and sanding

Conclusion to the Build

this has been a real puzzler for me, when Revell release the first incarnation of this kit with the single seater, many people were disappointed with the fit compared to there at the time current standard. since that point Revells reputation for 1/32 kits has imporved, yet this Kit still holds its own

there are several silly errors in the kits instructions, that could easily cause problems, especially with the inverted part numbers of some left and right handed pieces.

The biggest disappointment for me was the poor detail of the intake and the massive seams that are left when the building is complete. Two Mikes, do a very nice FOD cover for the Single seater, which as the twin and single seat share a goof 70% of components, fit this aswell but still a disappointment.

Secondly, the wing to body fitt could do with some support tabs on the inners as the long contour of the wing makes it very difficult to align

The canopy has a massive seam down the middle and as this is a nice clear thin canopy makes it very fragile and removing this was a terrifying ordeal

the rest of the build is fairly straight forward and goes without too much fuss

The markings provided are accurate for the type and Sqns, but the RAF 6 sqn option although worn for a while is not current.

on to the weapons

this is the big high and low point, the weapons are fabulous but are totally inaccurate for the RAF or well any Typhoon at this current point in time as neither the Paveway 3 or the skyshaddows have been cleared for use (but they will come in handy for a 1/32 Tornado :whistle

All in All a nice kit, one ive enjoyed building

Thanks Revell for the Sample

Thats a wonderful finish Mark.
Looking to get one in January and I hope it comes out as good as yours. Although it won't be a Whiffy like my single seater. :wicked
