No pylons in 1/72 I'm afraid Mark; the ones I have are a tad larger!

Got a start on this this morning. Cockpit interiors, gear bays, u/c legs etc. were painted up
Posted Image
the weapons pack was painted up
Posted Image
Then received a dark wash
Posted Image
Cockpits assembled, painted and decalled. I found I had some PE seatbelts so I chucked them in too
Posted Image
And the weapons pack is now attached to the wing
Posted Image
It's a start...

Edit; the 'made in China' has also been sanded off!

The Siamese Mustang got a bit further over the weekend, both fuselages built
Posted Image
Wing assembled
Posted Image
one of the cockpits

Fuselages meet the wing, and almost sort of fit!

Tailplane on

I'm impressed with the detail on this kit for an old'un; it even has the brake calipers!
Posted Image
And the F-82 is now up on its legs, with prop backplates and radiators fitted too
