Builder of aircraft, any scale from 1:1 to 1:144!

There is indeed a bench under there; I like to have the paint pots close to hand and ready for use as construction jigs! Mossie it's a surprisingly good kit for an old one. The only problem I've encountered so far was a reluctance for the port fuselage to sit square on the wing. |

Well it's looking a bit more like an F82. I managed to get a coat of paint on it on Friday![]() The props got blacked up too, blades satin, spinners matt ![]() Props, screens and canopy frames fitted ![]() Glazing then went on, and the decals followed shortly after ![]() Even the props got their decals! I have to admit I nearly didn't bother, but I'm glad I did. ![]() So this is where it's at now; pretty damn close...

Looks nice. Must admit I don't normally bother with the propeller decals myself. |

Well I managed to get this build finished on Saturday morning. The radar, pylons, drop tanks, gear doors and pitots/aerials were all that remained to be fitted. Sadly in the midst of this I dropped the bugger and broke off one prop and snapped a main gear leg! Fortunately it all fixed fine, the beastie is done and dusted. Will post pics once I have chance to break out the camera and take some decent ones. |
