I really do admire your patience with this build.
Its certainly been tested a few times by these ,at times , useless instructions....glad I managed to get a copy of the original kits ones....although they are not perfect they are a hell of a lot more precise at showing what part glues to whatever :bang:

Said it before and Ill say it again ....this kit should be built not stashed ...loving it

Andy
Ps...still havent a bloody clue where to display it though....the Clematis in the garden could well be getting a new bit of "trellis" to climb up !

Construction nearly complete....got railings and stairs to add.
The Shuttle cargo change module has had the left hand side leg/wheel structure added. This had to be pinned as it is just a butt join which will not be able to hold the weight .
A simple 5 minute task of drilling three holes in the leg supports and the placement pegs and adding pins .

BTW...its actually quite a manageable size to display

Just a quick update ...
Halfords Grey primer added and now to add lots of railings / spotlights and a few final bits before painting and detailing.

Looks like its leaning in the photo but honestly its just the camera angle :D

Excellent looking build Andy.

Quick question for you - How big do you reckon the final "footprint" on this is going to be? I'd like to add the info to our site to give customers some idea of how much space they need to display one.

Many thanks,
John

This is going to look magical with that aforementioned Clematis growing around it.

Here goes John ...

if you pose the model like this .....50 cm wide by 38cm deep.

If you have the Cargo change module over the Shuttle then its more compact but you dont see the shuttle .
30 cm wide by 38cm deep.

Height is roughly 65 cm .
