Cheers Shaun

99% of the rigging done and I must say I enjoyed doing it even though this is my first real attempt at doing a fully rigged aircraft .
Aeroclub thread makes the job easy peasy ...recommended 110% .

Next job was to attach the upper wing.
A few dry fits had shown that this would be a rather tricky part of the build due to the not so great fit of the struts due to alignment problems.
Strangely enough when I did eventually glue the wing , using 5 min Epoxy resin and plenty of masking tape to hold it all together , it was a lot easier to do than when I dry fitted it !!
Ill leave it overnight to fully harden .

While this is drying Ive made up the Ground Crew ....quite nicely detailed and will add a sense of scale.....the aircraft is tiny compared to even a Spity .

Conclusion

Even though this kits origins date back to 1959 this is a kit that thoroughly deserves to be re-issued.
If how good a kit is measured by how much of a smile it puts on your face then Im calling this kit very good.
In places its obviously an old kit but with excellent new decals with a very colourful option on them ( must admit that the superb box art well and truly caught my attention) its well worth the RRP.
The kit comes with thread for the rigging , which is shown in the instructions and is not to hard to do , and by doing so adds enormously to the finished build.

I would recommend this kit to all except maybe the absolute beginner.
Its an oldie but its a Golden Oldie.
Well done Revell :thumb:
