So I`m calling this done and reasonably happy with the outcome.

Kinda happy as well that this is my last `Tiger` bi-plane and looking forward to the next fast jet project.

Were the cowlings not polished and shiny on these planes?
On all the silver ones, yes.

However 74`s Demons were part of the experimental camouflage trials on Malta and were supposed to be fully camouflaged up.

It was soon discovered that the camo paint reacted with the grey primer on the metal bits for some reason, (may be because they used local stocks of paint dope??), so they just reverted to using the grey primer on those parts.
