The final talk in the 2014 series.

Cheque handover to the Lincolnshire Bomber Command Memorial will take place at the lecture.

7:30 for 8:00 start
Admission £4 on the door, tea & coffee afterwards.

Living near Southend I remember watching the Vikings etc. going of on the replenishment flights, coal I believe.

DevilFish, The Church and attached visitor centre is on the South Park roundabout. If exiting from High Street go straight over then cut through the gap immediate right onto Colegrave Street.

Have fun if you go and introduce yourself to Chris, the organiser.

Olde Farte, the Hastings at Newark Air Museum had coal dust in it from the Berlin Airlift flights so Nam Updater tells me.

I don't think I ever saw any Hastings at Southend so probably perishables then.
