XS743, a Beagle Basset B.206Z, was retired last Friday (7th November 2014) at Boscombe Down after a career spanning 50 years, 46 of which have been with ETPS. This was the last of the type still reported flying. |

A little known, but still important type. I remember having the old Airfix kit. I believe they were originally used as hacks for the V-bomber crews. |
