Airfix 1:72 BAe Hawk T.Mk.1 (A50155)
XX278 RAF Benevolent Fund Display Hawk, No. 208 (R) Squadron,
RAF Valley, 2012.

After making the 2009 versions of the RAFBF I decided to carry on with the theme and make the 2012 version. This required just a little more thought as regards the paint scheme.

I am reasonably pleased with the results and stands out among the grey jets that are prevalent at the moment, and certainly adds a new dimension to flying the flag.

That's one of the best colour schemes I've seen a display Hawk in, and the model does it justice!
