Today's hint.

'This might be the easiest one yet so I hope you don’t get stuck' they say on the thread there.

Basic trainer? Or Stuka (...'stuck'...)...

According to the Airfix Facebook page, the aircraft on the right should have a propeller.......

And it is a dogfight double.
It doesn't have to be that both models are new tools. The hint on the website 'driving you wild' is obviously a clue so I'm going for 'Wildcat' for the new tool (the bulge under the nose being the central fuel tank and the wingtip 'pods' being a red-herring) and the dogfight double being Wildcat and the earlier new-tool Mitsubishi A6M.

I'm a happy camper because if today's isn't a Whitley I'll eat my hat.

.... and just after I`d spent a small fortune the last couple of years on my 74 Sqn collection.

Prepare to see the prices fall on the old releases on eBay soon..... :whistle

The voices told me to do it!
The new tool 1/48 Hurri, Spit and 1/48 figures and vehicles peeked my interest. But the Shack wins it. I might to my late Grandfather's ride. Other than that not much there of interest. The Whitley might come in handy for something I suppose.

2 questions....

1) are these going to be plastic or polythene (or whatever that aweful soft stuff is)

2) I didn't think the "wooly pully" was around in WW2...I always thought that, like the beret, it didn't make an appearance till post-war National Service days...
And, even if it was WW2, it would have been a round neck, not Vee...
