the astute of you will have noticed ive not been around much latley, well sadly there is good reason for this... my mojo is crawled away and died in a corner somwhere, this has mainly been to do with the neighbours from hell, we have had at least weekly visits from the police and substanshal damage done to our house and gardens and this has resulted in criminal action as a result i cant really focus on anything for too long in fact i have packed all of my modelling stuff away and i had / was considering selling all of it and walking away from the hobby entirley but i stopped my self before it got that far in the mean time i have filled my life with violence in the form of tank killing (as tc, fts and mrvr6 will varyfy) so this is an appology really, im not after any sympathy just thought i should explain why i have been aloof and at times even a bit snappy i would also like to thank tc and devilfish for stepping up to the plate to keep mmm running smoothly |

There's not much any of us can really say about this as most readers will be fortunate enough never to have to deal with this type of situation. It puts things into perspective. Keep plugging away and pass on our good wishes to Ruth and Jamie. Regards, Nigel |

Been there with the neighbours mate, though never got as far as the police coming round, did call them a couple of times after they threatened to kill me and the dog! It does consume you though, got to the stage where we didn't want to go out into the garden. There are some real ********** (insert your own words) out there, hang on in there mate. |

I never realised that people could be that nasty having never experienced bad neighbours. Try and put it behind you and look forward to next year, meantime my thoughts are with you, Ruth & Jamie. |

I`m in a very similar situation as Mark. Only just this weekend my wife was turning to pull into our driveway when the `silly`, (I know some children view here), woman from next door, deliberately went to walk in front of her even though she looked up and had seen her coming. She then hurled some abuse about the missus driving and half an hour later the police arrived at ours after she reported that we had attempted to run her over. Although the funniest one was about 6 months ago when at our local nursery my mum in law was half way through the door after picking up the little `un, when the same woman tried to barge past her, As a result, one of the buggy wheels clipped her and that night the police arrived as the lovely lady next door wanted an assault charge filed.... It`s simply a case that she sets herself up so that she can give us abuse. I could go on, but I think you get the drift. Mark, there an Alfred Hitchcock film you and I could find beneficial....

Jeebus! My thoughts are with you and your tribe. I hope you can battle through this mate. I know a man with a real tank, if that's any help. Just saying...! |

Don't let the B******* grind you down mate. Chin up, takes a bigger man to walk away/ignore them. |

Keep the moral high ground mate. Don't sink to their level and you will come through this. In the mean time we will keep the site running, and the home fires burning awaiting your return. Don't give up on the modeling. I walked away for more or less 20 years (built the odd one or two in that time), but kept buying for the stash, knowing one day I would get back into it. So glad I did! |

Don't give up the modelling mate! Surely this is how you relax without getting square eyes! Can't say much about the situation you are in, it makes me sick just thinking about it!

Having gone fairly quiet myself, due to some personal stuff,I hadn't really noticed you were running quiet as well. Keep your chin up, Mark. Remeber, you're far better people than they could hope to be. Regards to the family, hope it all works out soon. |

been there with the nasty neighbours, long story but in the end when they threatened the ex missus thro the front door (she was too scared to open it) i just sat there and phoned the police who 'invited him to the station for a little chat' as the police woman put it...still had hassle til we left...it was the fact they were both well into their late 60s dont give up on the modelling...even if its only coming here to chat.....its an 'escape' |

Obviously, my own problems are far less serious than yours, but I find modeling helps me "forget" about my troubles for a while. |

Sorry to hear that. I've had some pains in the backside living beside me, but nowhere near as bad as yours. Main thing, as said by others, is, don't give up the modelling. That would be another thing they will have done to you. Best wishes, hope it gets resolved sometime soon. |

Best thing to do Mark is keep a running log or diary of things as they happen. Day, date, time place x x x happened, I said, he said etc. You'll eventually have enough on record should you need it. Another question is do they own the house or is it rented? There are things that can be done there too. I would also get your local PCSO on the case as they can do things too. |
