Airfix 1/48th Javelin FAW.Mk 9R XH893 'V' of No. 64 Squadron Singapore during 1963.

OOB and brush painted as usual with airframe kept clean as photos I have show.

That's a really nice looking model Derek. The paint finish looks very smooth and the intake/jet pipe blanks make a huge difference to the overall appearance.

Thanks, this really was an enjoyable build.

You may have noticed the grey rod between the under fuselage tanks as although I added 1/2 a ton of lead flashing into the nose it still tail sat.

Great job! I must add one of these to my 85Sqn collection.

I think it's a problem of the era Del. All British aircraft of the 50's were tailsitters, no matter how much weight you cram in. Obviously still thinking about the war....
