After several attempts to start a model (or GB) and failing to finish it due to the need to build lighting kits to restock the webstore (very inconsiderate of people to buy them!!) I decided to try something fairly simple. Saw this kit at the Air Museum in Doncaster on Sunday only went in for some paints!

Put the finishing touches to it last night, so I present it for your consideration and comments.

The kit is Eduard's very nice Dual Kit pack in 1/144 scale and built as the 601 Squadron bird from Italy in 1944. Painted using Vallejo Model and Model Air paints and a hairy stick.

Right, back to the soldering iron!

Cheers,

Warren

That is so tiny but looks very good Warren.

I was going to ask why no lighting but at 144 the bulbs are probably bigger than the model.

Thank Del,

Did think of lights but there's not that much on the Spitfire, waiting for the new Airfix 1/48 Hurricane for that!!

Cheers,

Warren

Knowing how big (or small) Vallejo bottles are I can only say THAT'S TINY!!!!

Way to small for these pork sausage fingers to put together!!!

Thanks guys,

You get two kits in a box and I know that Retrokits do a cockpit set for this kit so might try that on the other one!

Nurse, nurse, bring the sedatives!!

Cheers,

Warren

I was thinking that...and considering some of the stuff I paint that's worrying.
