The Sd. Kfz.9 was one of the best known 18t heavy recovery vehicles of WW2, this final versions the FAMO (Fahrzeug und Motorenwerken) was build and used for recovering tanks and transporting heavy artillery

The Kit

This is a re-release of the 2004 kit, the detail on this kit is astonishing for the size of it, the intricate detail blights the fact that this is a difficult kit to assemble.

The instructions....

These are the normal Revell booklet style with 11pages covering the 38 steps of the build, the Paints are in Revell callouts only and some require mixing.

The decals

These are very clean and crisp and in perfect register with minimal excess on each decal
Markings are for:

- A captured FAMO from Tunesia 1943
- Abteliung, Panzer Regiment 7/10 Tunesia 1943

In Conclusion

This is a nice re-release of a AFV, there is plenty of detail to make a stunning display, it is however rated as a level 5 kit (very challenging) and from past experience this is a very difficult kit to build.
