It's as hot as my ass in Spandex out there!

Seriously though, it was akin to stepping infront of an oven walking out of work to get some lunch. We're air con'd in here (can get a bit chilly due to whichever monkey switches it on) so its enough of a shock, add to it stepping out of a windowless building into blinding sunshine! My eyes!!!

I think the polite way to say this is 'go forth and multiply'.

34c but now heavy cloud cover and getting humid

"I don't want to say it's hot in my room, but 2 Hobbit's just came around and threw a ring in it!" Shamelessly stolen from Sir Ian McKellan.

I spent 3 and a half hours in a car with no a/c, still suffering now. Dehydration is a b&@ch!

On a slightly serious note, combatting dehydration is something Brits are not traditionally good at. Keep the fluid intake up and note the colour of your urine - too dark - drink more as a general rule.

Was in Peterborough today and when I got back to the car at 4.30 it said 39 deg, it dropped to 36 once I started moving and dropped to 34 as I crawled past Retford on the A1!
