That's a nice start but blimey it is small and I wonder if the colour and decals may be too much in this scale. Time will tell.

Construction is basically complete. Going to leave the undercarriage off for now as I think it may get in the way of some of the decaling. Undercarriage doors will get painted and decaled off the model.

No issues with construction at all, it fits together nice. I had a lot of fun chasing the nose cone around the cave but that wasn't the kits fault.

Some paint added

The bronze is proving to be interesting. I paint it on and it looks good, turn the model a bit and you can see plastic, it's quite odd but a couple of coats and a few patches here and there and it's looking okay.

It just doesn't look right in that small scale, colour seems too heavy to me but the end result will be worth it I'm sure.

Waking up early means the descent into madness began just after 5am this morning. Last update before the finish.

There is no warning in the build instructions but you have to leave the undercarriage off until after the decals are done, the one at the front has a hole that goes round the bay for the front leg, that would be a bugger to put on if the leg was in place. Looking at the instructions I have to have the canopy on before doing the fuselage decals so that will happen tonight. On the decal page there is a recommended list for which ones to do first, these are all on now. All I have to do is fill in the gaps.
