The Camaro has been around since 1967, and, apart from a short break in production between 2002 and 2010, has been on sale all that time.
The kit represents the 5th generation, in it's re-envisaged form, harking back to the original body style, as was done by both Ford, with the Mustang, and Dodge with the Challenger.
In a bid to bring back proper musclecars, the Camaro has been fitted with many performance packs and engines. The ZL-1 option was originally offered on the 1969 model, and consisted of fitting Chevy's biggest, most powerful engine, the all alloy 500bhp big block.
The current ZL-1 features the 6.2 litre engine and 6 speed gearbox from the Corvette ZR-1, giving it a 0-60 mph time of under 4 seconds.

The kit comes in the standard Revell end opening box.

The instructions are again, as we expect from Revell, clear and easy to follow.

The sprues are individually bagged, then all bagged up together, which is a nice touch.

There are 9 sprues, plus the body and 2 sprues of transparent parts for lights, and of course the tyres.

A nice surprise was the fact that the bodyshell comes pre-painted.

Looking at the parts breakdown and the instructions, even though this kit is labeled as a skill level 3, I suspect it wouldn't pose too much of a problem for anyone fairly new to the hobby. With the pre-painted bodyshell, I can see this being aimed at this market, as a very good model looks like it can be had, for very little effort.

Revell model kits are available from all good toy and model retailers. For details visit www.revell.de/en, @RevellGermany or facebook.com/Revell
a new-look Revell website has now gone live at www.revell.de/en.

I think it's a halfway house. Skill level 3, but probably because of the parts count. The build up of the parts is, for a car kit, very simplified. There are no separate heads on the V8, for example. The running gear is moulded in place....

But, despite that, I feel that a great looking model can be built by anyone with a moderate skill level. In fact, I might possible give this to my daughter to build for the build review. :ohmy
