The PaK 40 7.5 cm anti-tank gun was one of the main anti-tank guns in the German Wehrmacht during the Second World War. From 1941 more than 23,000 PaK 40's were built and saw service in all theatres of war. The gun crew usually consisted of six soldiers.

The Kit

Well this is a subject that i know little about and 1/72 is a bit small for my fingers, so i was pleasantly surprised to find not 1 but 2 complete guns and crew in the box (this isn’t an error). Admittedly there isn’t a lot too them but it has the makings of a good diorama

The instructions....

These are the normal Revell booklet style with only 6 pages covering the 7 steps of each of the builds, the Paints are in Revell callouts only and some require mixing

In Conclusion

Well what can i say, for your money you get 2 sprues of plastic containing 2 guns and 12 crew, however the moulds are crisp and the level of detail is good for the size of the kit. These would make a great basis for a diorama

Revell model kits are available from all good toy and model retailers. For details visit www.revell.de/en, @RevellGermany or facebook.com/Revell
a new-look Revell website has now gone live at www.revell.de/en.

They look nice. Good clean mouldings, I'll be ordering some of these for my 20mm German forces.
