on later varients of Uboat the kreigsmere fitted a retractable snorkel, so diesel engines could be run with the boat semi submerged, thus recharging the batteries

todays work has been on the small fiddly bits

namley the 3 deck guns, care has to be taken removing the parts from the sprues, as some of the sprue gates are bigger than the part

well today has been about grey.....

however i how have a problem, i got a blockage in the airbrush and in the process of cleaning it ive managed to bend the needle, i have a spare but the fit isnt brilliant, it should do for the main grey but any detail will have to wait untill a replacement arrives

anyway this will be a part work

No excuse just use the biggest flat that fits in the jar as I do.

it can actually be easier for big stuff sometimes.
or even halfords spray cans if its big and 1 colour
