I've been counting up the cost..... Each kit is around £30 = £90 Resin and extras, approx. = £70 Surplus aircraft boxes = £14 Display plinths and engraved nameplate x3 =£65 Acrylic rod app = £10. Total = £249 This doesn't include the several cans of primer, filler primer and paint I used on them, or the filler itself (of which I used a lot), not to mention the man-hours involved. I was planning on trying to sell these this weekend, but I'd have to ask at least £100 each, just to break even. Trouble is, as the builder, all I see is the mistakes and bits I'm not happy with, so I feel like asking that much is too much. I will try and get a photo up of them when they are finished, so you can tell me what you think. |
