You won't want the strengthening plates then as they were added at a later stage I believe. I will vouch for the Parkin bits as I' have used them before on other things. |

I started filling the seams of the Vulcan inlets. Still not sure if I'll use them or splash out on resin ones yet....![]() ![]() Then back onto the Victor. The one I have decided to do is XM715 of 100 Sqn. And here's where the problems start.... As she was then, she was an early B2, and so had no wing tanks or fairings, and a different shaped bulge at the tail root.... So, to start with I have removed the first of the fairings. ![]() ![]()

I noticed I hadn't put a picture up of the extended wingtips. Just to show the difference...

Remember, I have a pet Victor. And some say I know a thing or two about them... For a white jet (BS carrier or conventional?) no brace plates, ECM tailcone on, obviously the HDU off, and remove the back hatch and door moulded into the stbd side of the fuselage. Remember the APU bulge! Edited by Blue_2, Nov 16 2015, 07:28 PM.

So you'll be needing full length bomb bay doors, all the way back to the seam line behind where the HDU is moulded into the fuselage on the K2 kit. Have you removed both the back hatch and the outline of the cockpit door on the starboard half? There is only one back hatch, and one cockpit door. Both on the port side. Dont forget to move the RATs and their exhausts from where the kit wants them put! The APU bulge is the bulge in the starboard wing root where the Blackburn Artouste APU is fitted on all Mk.2's. It has a retractable intake which is obviously opened while the APU is running. ![]() Here is ours, throwing a decent flame from the exhaust on start up. |

I have the Freightdog B2 conversion. Bomb bay, wing extensions...... Yes, I've removed all superfluous hatches. I'll add the bulge when I get to that bit. Just waiting till I can afford resin intakes. I also need to modify the fairing at the base of the tailfin (not sure what it houses), as my one (XM715) will be an early production B2. |

I've sent a lot of shots of it, as XM715 is otherwise known as Teasin Tina, at Dunsfold. |
