Bugger!! The plans I have in an old model magazine doesn't show it!

Oh well, Was never going to be happy with this build anyway, so I'll just add it to the list.

Don't worry about it. The whole build has been a pain.
Converting to B.2, replacing the intakes, rescribing, that awful canopy fit (or lack thereof), removing the tanks and fairings.
I've had to change my plans for the aircraft I wanted to build, as XM715, of 100 Sqn, had the early fin root intake at that period in time. Don't have time to change it, so I have had to go for a 139 Sqn aircraft.
Handling the thing scares me, because I'm worried I'll catch it on something, or hold it wrong and crack the filler.
On top of that I had a falling out with the guy who's supposed to be making me the display bases, so I don't know it they will get done now.
All in all a pretty jinxed build!

I spent the weekend drilling holes in nuclear weapons.....

This was so I can mount them on the acrylic rod I bought off E-bay.

The Victor continues to fight me at every turn. I though I'd got it to a point where I was ready to apply the appliance white top coat. Unfortunately, as it doesn't have a bucket of sunshine, I had to drill through the resin bomb bay. I did this very carefully, but apparently, not carefully enough.....

Thankfully, repairs were relatively swift, and it's in the paint shop (my shed) as I write.

Noting how they look, I'm sure all the frustration will be worth it in the end. It's going to be a great tribute :cool

Well, it's coming down to the wire, as they say. I've actually taken Thursday off work, so I have time to do all those last jobs.

Somehow I've missed this for about five pages.

Great work going on here, it's going to be impressive when it's finished.

I forgot to mention, after I did repair the crack, I took it out to spray it, and, stupidly, I sprayed the top first, then, later on, turned it over and sprayed the bottom. Big mistake! I should know better!! The thing it was resting on, dug in to the paint and caused some damage. Nothing major, thankfully, and easily repaired, but nonetheless, another thing to add to the list!
I think this Victor has a last name......Frankenstein!! Apart from being a mix and match of parts, it's a total horror story!!
