ok the lynx was due to be next however as i want that flying ive ordered some clear rod to put up its bottom, so until that arrives i cant do much on that as i need to work out where to put it in the mean time, ie last night and this morning i began work on the quad bikes, adn although they are really fiddly they went together pretty quick ![]() ![]() you will notice i havent built any figures yet, there is a reason for that...... honest when i build the 2 helicopters (maybe 3 later) i want to adapt crew to be gunners ect so i dont want to build all the troops and find i needed a certain one for the 'lynx or merlin' if you catch my drift so next up will be.... the merlin!!!

When you build the Lynx, the idea place for acrylic rod (for me, anyway) is on the centreline, just behind the cabin bulkhead. I used 6mm rod and found a biro case which it fitted inside snugly. Drill a 6mm hole in the base of the fuselage and mount the sleeve (formerly known as a Biro) inside at the angle you want the helicopter to fly in. Some glue and a bit of re-inforcing and the job's done. There's a huge space behind the bulkhead to contain whatever you put there. MOUNTING THE LYNX ON ACRYLIC ROD |
