Out of interest, is there a thread on how to apply a wash and what to use? The effect is amazing and I'd like to give it a shot.
cheers guys

as for threads, i dont think we have one, however there are some good youtube videos out there, mu choice of wash at the moments is 'MIG' dark wash, i dont use it the conventional way though

i liberally coat the panel lines with it, let is stay there for a min or two, then with some kitchen towel wipe it all off again, its there are any suborn bits, i use more kitchen towel with a bit of spit, yes i said spit, it seems to work well, for me at least
Thanks Mark, I might give the MIG products a go.

I got some humbrol washes while I was buying some paint to give it a go but it seems too thick to be a wash and doesn't flow in to the panel lines like I'd expect. Many years ago I used Citadel washes on my GW models and I seem to remember it being a lot thinner than the humbrol products I have.
