Hi all,
Now my Bedford build is done its time for something completely different, a what-if, the basis of this build will be the Hobbyboss 1/72 Sukhoi Su-47 Berkut. It will either be an operational Russian aircraft in Su-33 type camouflage or in Su-27 digital camouflage, we shall see :whistle

Started the Berkut this morning, its a nice kit:

Typical Russian design...its huge for a single seater, here it is with a 1/72 Harrier GR1 on its back:

The nose cone and jet exhausts are dry fitted:

It really is a great fitting kit, only very minor sanding of the seams was required thus far.

Thanks for looking in, more soon

Any Russian jet sits well with me as I have built a few in my time and have another dozen or so in my loft and all 1/48th so, obviously, I will follow avidly.

Thanks a lot lads

Hi all,
Done a wee bit more on the Golden Eagle:

The kit seat is quite bland so I added some straps, an ejector handle and a couple of grab rails:

The radome has been filled with Liquid Gravity and glued in place, the canopy was masked, glued in place and then painted that iffy Russian cockpit green colour

Thanks for stopping by, more soon

Of course, it's going to be a whiff isn't it.

If I carry on like this I can see another 'doh' award coming my way.

The canopy is just tacked in place, so if I do a Russian bird I will change the colour of the handles just for your sanity Del
