Hi all, Sticking with my project for this year, and having just finished the Tamiya Jagdpanther, my next project is the HobbyBoss 1/35 Panther Ausf D Flak Bergepanther (82492): ![]() If you want to see pics of the sprues etc, you can find them here If I can find them I will be using the new Tamiya Ausf D tracks (12665) too. Looks great. Please excuse my ignorance, but I thought Bergepanther was the recovery variant. Was this a paper panzer only? |

Thanks for the interest lads Paddy, as far as I can see and from what I have read on the tinternet, it was a modified Bergepanther. All the recovery kit taken off and replaced with a 3.7cm Flak 43, I can only find one pic of it in service so it may be a one off conversion. This LINK is to the only pic I have found. |

Hi all, Sorry for the lack of updates, but here are some pictures of where I am at now: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I am thinking of doing the hull dark yellow/green but very worn and a grey 3.7cm as per the box art. Thanks for looking in

Hi all, More progress on the Flak Panther, the hull is complete, less the wheels and tracks: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I have also started on the 3.7cm Flak gun: ![]() If I am honest, the hull was very fiddly to build, not like the Tamiya or Italeri Panthers I have built previously. Progress will be sporadic at best for a while as Jane and I have just started to look at buying a house and will hopefully be moving shortly :D Thanks for looking in |
