Mark, this may seem a really silly suggestion. But if the decals on both sides face rear wards when put on their 'normal' side, if you swap them round don't they face the other way? Ie the one shown in the instructions for the right hand side faces rear wards (left) if you put it on the left side and it faces left, is that forwards? Or does the kit have one rear wards and one forwards? |

Could it be that the decal sheet depicts it in service, and your photo is a post retirement not quite accurate repaint? Not the first time it has happened. Just look at the Brunty Victor... |
