so whats the consensus go with the blue tail even though there may be issues with the markings or go with the metal finish?

I would think very carefully before embarking on something of that size in natural metal. The photos confirm the decals you have for the grey version.

ill post up photos later but, heres the plan

wings are nearly complete, im hoping that i can paint them prior to fixing them to the main fuserlarge, as if i go for the grey jet, i will have to mask and paint the white walkway lines as i cant get any white ones
i have 16, days to get this done, however im away for 4 days, im working 6 so in reality i have 6 days!!

the seem at the wing root isnt what id hoped for, so it looks like im going to have to add a smidge of filler, and mask after shes built up

the tube is to give the exhaust port some depth, as it wouldnt have a hole otherwise

wingers are on, filled sandered and 'filler primered' now to get the canopy masked and the whole thing painted
