Hi all well I'm enjoying the 1/8 hot rod immensely and I think it has rekindled my mojo so I've made a start on this

(still not confident enough to do any more to my ships) firstly a warning to all, careful how you stack your stash, this was OK when I put it away but there were 4 heavyish kits on it.

Those who know me will know I hardly ever do as the box art.

Another one that goes right up my street, metaphorically speaking of course.

Builder of aircraft, any scale from 1:1 to 1:144!
One of those Chevy lumps claimed far too much skin off my knuckles...

For accuracy, there should be a Chilton's (US equivalent of a Haynes manual) perched on the rocker covers!

Hi all I've had a blue Peter moment with this kit, I've heard of bmf and thought maybe i could make some.

Take a reel of double sided sticky tape and stick it to the back of some bacofoil

Cut from the tape side (the foil all rucks up if you try it from the foil side.

For easiness please just say 1,2,3 or 4

I'm seeing nine pictures, and I have the feeling that a couple of them are double. Picture #5 is the same as #1, so which wheel design is supposed to be 1, 2, 3, or 4?

As it is now, I'd say either those in pic #3 and #4, or those in #9.

The standard Rallye wheels look too small and too narrow for such a lowered car.

The last ones would work IF they had big fat meats on the back, i.e Pro street style. But again, they look like they're on standard tyres.

The GT500 wheels could work with a more basic paint scheme.

So, that leaves the Foose wheels......

Just my opinion of course.

Sorry again I should have mentioned it's not lowered, there is no suspension yet they are just placed there as an Idea of how it would look

I would go for number 4 or number 9.
