My very first 1/48 Hasegawa legacy hornet. After market goodies includes Eduard P.E, mask, combination of kit cartograf and twobobs decals, steel beach vinyl intake covers. Kitchen aluminum foil for exhaust covers. Gunze aqueous acrylic paint used.

Damned gorgeous Eric.

Unless the decal instructions show this as correct I believe the upper wing insignia is in the wrong place, should be central on the outer folding panel. Please accept my apology if it is correct though.

Olde Farte,

Thank you for bringing this up. I checked my reference picture closely. As you can see from this picture, the VFA-192 jet at the bottom 4-jet formation, look closely at the port wing and you will see the wing insignia located in the inner main wing. Probably others have it on the outer wing panel. But this one has it where I placed the decal and where it should be. Thanks for the clarification.

Thanks for the clarification re wing insignia Eric and I stand corrected. Like life itself there are always anomalies from the norm.

To repeat though it really is excellent work and right up my street.
