1/48th Romanian Air Force MiG-2 LanceR C. Converted from the Eduard MiG-21MFN Weekend kit utilising the Icaerodesign conversion kit. This provides the new 'glass' cockpit with 3 MFDs, RWRs, wiring conduit on the Starboard wing root and 2 Chaff and Flare dispensers, it also provides a small PE fret with aerial bases, tail aerials, HUD frame and a grill. Decals are supplied for 2 Romanian aircraft. The long pitot is a very fine one piece rod supplied by a South Korean firm I found in Ebay, saves the very fiddly job of mounting 4 small vanes to the plastic version. Brush painted throughout using Xtracolour Enamels for the topside and AKAN Acrylic for the underside blue then weathered using Flory Washes Grime and dark grey. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
