Somehow I knew it'd be on the list. Encyclopedia Dramatica for the win. The funny thing is that it's true. (I wouldn't recommend visiting the site, by the way) |

in death note the character light (one on the right) kills millions of people with a "death note." in order to cover up his identity he joined a task force to hunt "kira" which was the codename the task force was using for him. the guy on the left is a detective. when he says "hey kira" light turns since he goes by that name since he is the killer. also i just started reading "gone with the blastwave." its pretty much a webcomic version of red vs blue.

You had to go and ruin it with your explanations. Sometimes I wish I had a TV. (And seriously, that smile in the picture is just disturbing. I'm curious who drew it now)
I actually did watch some Death Note, also. From what I remember, Light is the name of the guy on the right, yes. However, Kira was a name given to him by the public, not by the task force, if I remember correctly (I don't think I got to see the first few episodes). He does join "L" (codename for the guy on the left) in the search for Kira, though mostly to view progress and to lift suspicions. L suspects Light of being Kira very early on, and that pretty much never changes. The "Hey Kira" comment pretty much whoosh'd over me since I'm pretty sure L knew Light was Kira, he just needed to find substantial evidence. Responding to that greeting gives no real substance when you're obviously being scrutinized and pressured. Also, "millions of people" seems to be a rather big exaggeration. I don't think millions of names would fit in a notebook. |

I'm more likely to classify it as disturbing. Though it does give me some laughs when watching a TV show or something to think... "Somebody, somewhere, someday, is going to write a gay story (or draw a picture) involving these two characters who show no homosexual tendencies or interest in each other whatsoever. It'll probably be a hormone driven fan-girl too." Actually no. That doesn't really make me laugh; it kind of crushes my childhood a bit. Does remind me of vgcats, though. http://www.vgcats.com/comics/?strip_id=126 I could get a TV if I wanted, though I've grown used to not having one. By the way, why are two forums hidden to guests? |

- What?! Light and L obviously show gay tendencies. Clearly. How else could those people write these amazing fanfics that might as well be considered canon? It's the only way I could respect them as writers. - I wish text would change when I'm sarcastic. Now no one's going to know which parts I actually meant. - My goal in life is that one day, some 13 year old girl will write about me...characters. Me characters. - Wow...I seriously type so differently tired. And we threw this off topic. - I can't imagine not having a tv on all day. Edit: Contributors is meant to be hidden and password locked for the information I post in it. ScritchScratch requires age verification by me to get a password. I was hoping you were sarcastic in that post I responded to. Though clearly, sarcasm does not translate into text. Well, that's how I piss off a lot of people on teh intarnetz. Although... I don't think my sarcasm translates well when I speak, either. That's how I piss people off in teh RL. Digi-Fur Study Hall and Pawprint Canvas are hidden to guests completely (those are the two I was mentioning, I probably should've clarified). I knew about the password protected forum, but the other one you mentioned I don't see even when logged in. |
