- I'm helping a friend get appointments to sell knives. He gets paid whether you buy it or not, as long as he shows the knives. So, anyone willing to ask their parents if they want to watch a sales presentation?
- You'll get to hold the knives and see how sharp they are. They were really good!

- $950. Though I doubt he can write off a flight to Florida as a business expense.

- Are you interested? You don't have to buy it. He still gets paid as long as he presents it. Plus, there's cheaper sets...I'm just not allowed to tell you that. He has to show the most expensive set first, then gradually lowers it.

Well, it's an interesting offer, but as is well known, I'm out of range too. But knives are great.

- The butter knife in the set was sharper than my serrated edge knives. That's why their expensive.
- Yeah, it has to be people 25+ to set up the appointment. Because, the company knows people under that age probably don't have that much extra money to buy it.

- Sure you can. As long as your parents agree to watch the presentation. What I'm doing is finding people who are willing to set up an appointment for my friend to come to their house for under an hour. Just ask your parents if you want and give me a phone number and address. You may cancel if you want.

In that case, I guess I'm lucky my mother is atypical, huh. I've got a Mauser K98k with waffenampts from the Nazi era, and a Romanian AK-47 from the 60's. And I'm planning to get the Mossberg 464, which is their version of the classic Winchester model 94 lever action.

And yes Murdock, this could be called advertising, but it is being posted by the boss, so I guess he could order us to ignore it. But as moderators,we are supposed to be above ranks, so we do need to do something. and this is about it.

- Hmm...how can I twist this to look like I'm not breaking my own rules? OH! Let's say I benefit from this in some way and in turn, it'll help you. And you know what this benefit is? Karma. Yes.
- Ask your parents anakain. Do it! Say it's for a friend.
- Now, let's say, hypothetically, I was the one selling the knives. Would that change any of your minds?
