Part of my ideas is the point of living is to have fun and everything we do initially is for fun so I think this idea could work but making this happen everywhere would probably be too expensive and difficult. I myself make things normally boring for most people funner for me so I enjoy it (like walking through a door, or walking down stairs).

the trash can and the bottle arcade would be a lot cheaper than the piano stares (the trash can could be made for around 20 bucks) but things like that for mediocre things would make people use it mostly out of curiosity but i can only imagine it around downtown areas with considerably more people

Downtown does seem like the best spot for it, putting it in neighborhoods wont get so much attention. Wishing wells and those coin drops where your coin spirals down the funnel for donations seem to work pretty well, not for most people but for a good amount. I'm pretty confident it would be used more than once any person who uses it.
